Vogue Hommes Japan, Digital Vol. 1

Um…I’m actually really living for Vogue Hommes Japan’s first digital volume. It’s a special collaboration with Dior Homme, thanks to Nicola Formichetti's styling talent - no surprisee! - and photography by Pierre Debusschere.

Technology is really driving the magazine world to new levels, only if the editors accept the future and more forward. I love how this whole spread moves as if you’re watching it literally come to life.

Amazingness!

P.S. - I’m secretly in love with Eryck Laframboise.

Black Party, Spring 2010

Black Party is this weekend, but who does that anymore? According to fashion designers, a black party is happening on the runways. Doom and gloom within the global economy influenced this trend and it’s very evident in many collections this season. It’s pretty odd because color is strongly associated with spring. But, get used to it because, judging from the state of the current economy, black may be here for a while.

Welcome To The Gun Show!, Spring 2010

‘Bing, bang, boom!’  is the sound coming from the runways for spring 2010, because designers are ready to show off those arms. Throw on a tank top and make sure your layered shirt, sweater or jacket is sleeveless. This trend is unique because designers found creative ways to incorporate full looks into their collections without a need for sleeves.

Throw on a button-down shirt, layered with a sweater vest and jacket and – boom! – you have a full look…without sleeves! I’ve never had a problem with a good set of guns, so men everywhere need to be ready to aim and fire!
